 note = {研究ノート, This study explored the creation of specific rubrics for writing English sentences using the content analysis methodology, which is generally used in mass media studies. The author created simple and specific rubrics whose scales were coded either zero or one for an English writing course. The course's purpose is to help students be able to form acceptable English sentences. Then she used the specific rubrics to grade her students' papers and examined the benefit of the rubrics. It was found that the grading was both efficient and correct. The study suggested the need to investigate the effectiveness of the specific rubrics in light of students' learning and validity of the rubrics.},
